Creative Silence | Photography - About

Creative Silence is the brainchild of Brooklyn raised freelance photographer Christopher Charles.  Since he was a child, he's always had an eye for art and composition. This eye led to his early work being shown in The Brooklyn Museum of Art when he was only 10yrs old.  His journey as a successful photographer and producer has been a part of his ongoing progression in the arts. Now residing in Raleigh, NC, his mission is to create a thought provoking and atmospheric mood for his clients.

Chris is not one to limit himself artistically and this is reflected in his work, which ranges from magazine and commercial styled captures to gritty, photo journalistic renderings of the people, places and things around him.

All Creative Silence photoshoots are   done on location to help bring a sense of realism and spontaneity while making the client feel at ease and in their element.  Chris is a combat veteran and natural sharpshooter.  He used his time spent in the Army as a surveyor and expert rifleman to help him hone his skills with the camera, helping him produce high quality, and sometimes abstract renderings of what he sees through his viewfinder.

Stay tuned for several up and coming projects and updates to his portfolio, for much more is to come from Creative Silence.

There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.
